ANAK KO by JAY SOM

March 18, 2023 wwzd Uncategorized

serene as well as wonderful.  Shoegaze as a genre has a tendency to leave me cold, however Jay Som’s second album takes whatever that’s fantastic about bands like The Sundays (sweet vocals, hypnotizing riffs) as well as adds a layer of indie rock underneath, providing a foundation as well as backbone that is both impressive as well as compelling.
Highly recommended.
